DailyLook March Unboxing

It’s that time again! Another DailyLook Unboxing! DailyLook has revamped their box with this gorgeous blue box with a bow. It feels like you’re opening up a present. They really are elevating our style with their new box! Okay, let’s see what was in this month’s box!

Halter Cami Top – $79: I LOVE a good halter top. I think it’s so sexy to show off the shoulders, especially in the warmer months. Plus this pink color is the perfect pop of color. I will definitely be wearing this out a lot! KEEP

V Neck Stripe Long Sleeve Romper – $84: Rompers are great to throw on when you’re not sure what to wear. I really did like this romper but it was too big on me. RETURN

Make You Mine Wrap Knit Dress – $88: This wrap dress was so pretty! I love the blush color, and wrap dresses are so flattering. It was a little too low cut on me but I almost kept this because it was so pretty on. RETURN

MINKPINK Club Culture Tee Dress – $33.95: This was a super casual dress and I love the brand MINKPINK. I’m just not a huge pattern person so this was just not my style. RETURN

Knit Top with Tiered Sleeves – $79: LOVE! This was my favorite item from the box. I look a fabulous sleeve. This sweater is perfect for work, but is also cute enough to wear on a date or night out! Plus it’s super comfortable to wear and I love the neutral tan color! KEEP

Hudston Barbara High Waist Raw Hem Super Skinny Jeans – $195: Black high waisted denim is what I wear 75% of the time. So of course I had to keep this pair because it’s exactly what I wear all the time. Plus these jeans are super comfortable for high waisted which can be hard to find sometimes. KEEP

Floral Print Tie Blouse – $78: This was a super cute blouse. I almost kept this as well. I love the bell sleeves on this and the silk material. If I wasn’t in between moving apartments and trying to downsize my closet I definitely would have kept this. RETURN

Sarai L/S Bell Sleeve Top – $69: This was a super cute sweater that I also almost kept. I have so many similar grey sweaters like this so ultimately I decided to pass. RETURN

ONE by One Teaspoon Dusty Bandits Denim Shorts – $62.95: I love denim shorts but for me I love a more fitted pair. These were unfortunately too baggy for me. But I have friends who would love this look! If you like the baggy oversized shorts, these are the pair for you. RETURN

Zina L/S Tie Back Off Shoulder Top – $69: This was a super cute off the shoulder top with a pretty bow tie on the back. I decided against keeping it because it was a little too loose on me and kept falling off. RETURN

DailyLook

Gorjana Hoop Earrings – $65: I love Gorjana jewelry! They have amazing quality stuff and these hoops are super cute. I’ve been on a jewelry ban myself because I have so much at home so I decided to pass on these. RETURN

There you guys have it! My DailyLook box for the month of March! I absolutely LOVE the new packaging DailyLook put together. It is such a cute touch to elevate the whole experience of getting a monthly box. To get more information, or to get your own box check out DailyLook here.

DailyLook Elite Box – September 2017

We’re back for another DailyLook Elite Box unboxing! For those of you who don’t know what DailyLook is, it’s a monthly subscription where you basically get your own personal stylist. They send you a box of clothes, you try it out keep what you like and return the rest. This month was seriously my favorite! All the pieces were pretty much all incredible. Let’s get started!

Tart Collection Tacita S/S Printed Knit Maxi Dress – $174: This is hands down my favorite item from the box. It’s definitely on the pricier side so I took that into consideration when picking what items I wanted to keep from this box. The material on this dress is so luxurious and soft. I love the off the shoulder detailing on this dress. I feel like this dress is perfect for a casual day look but can also be dressed up for a dinner date or night out. KEEP!

Cameo No Advice Chambray Bustier – $41.99: I really love the structure of this bustier and I think it looks perfect paired with a skirt like this, however…I could not zip this up with my boobs. It was way too tight and for that reason I returned it. RETURN

Jonesy Button Front Scuba Skirt – $44.95: This skirt is so cute! I love the gold button detailing down the front and the length of it is perfect. I just didn’t love the neoprene material that the skirt is made of. It didn’t really flatter me. RETURN

DailyLook Diane Sheer Inset Slip Dress – $82: This dress is super cute and very flattering on. I love slip dresses, I have another one from DailyLook in an olive green color that I wear all the time. This time I didn’t keep the dress because I have about a million plain black dresses already in my closet. But if you’re looking for a slip dress, this one is perfect. RETURN

Olivia Grey Eve S/S Open Shoulder Lace Inset Top – $74: I was super torn with this top. I love how it looks and you all know I’ve been loving the cold shoulder top trend lately. The downside I had to this was it was SO hard to put on myself. It had two clasp closures on the neck and I could not figure out how to put them together for the life of me. For that reason I decided to return this. RETURN

DailyLook High Waist Vegan Leather Leggings – $39.95: Another item I was torn on. I LOVE the faux leather legging look, I already own a couple pairs. This pair however was super tight and small on me. Fit wise it just wasn’t the best. I think I would need to size up for this item. RETURN

DailyLook SL Elaina Asym Knit Ponte Dress – $89: I love this dress! I think it’s a super flattering body con dress. My coworkers loved it when I tried it on! I think this would be super cute with a pair of white sneakers. KEEP

DailyLook Soft and Sweet Floral Tank – $68: This top was cute and I love the structure of the top. It had a super cute back. The only thing I didn’t love was the pattern. It was a little too girly for my taste. I’m not a HUGE pattern person so when it comes to a top like this if I don’t love the pattern I won’t wear it much. RETURN

Just Black Daria Knee Slit Cropped Skinny Jeans – $88: Ya’ll know I love Just Black denim! I loved the cropped jeans because they fit me perfectly. I’m just not the biggest fan of light wash denim. RETURN

Free People Vegan Leather Studded Moto Jacket – $198:  I love me a good leather jacket. I love the studded detailing on this jacket and have been looking for a jacket similar to this. I just didn’t love the fit on this for me. It looked a little too big and boxy. RETURN

Free People Long Ribbed Cardigan – $78: Another Free People item, and this one I LOVE LOVE LOVE! I’m obsessed with this lilac color. Also long cardigans are super in right now and I think will be a big trend this fall. I cannot wait to wear this piece! KEEP

Mirabelle Lace Shoulder Tunic Dress – $68: This is a cute dress for fall. I love the color on this and the lace detailing. For me however I just didn’t love the fit. It didn’t really do much for my shape. RETURN

So there you guys have it! This was what I got in my box for the month of September. I’m SO obsessed with the blue maxi dress and the Free People cardigan! As always be sure to check out DailyLook and sign up for your own monthly box here. Also be sure to check out my YouTube video showing you what I got in this month’s box, and don’t forget to subscribe!

Chambray Romper

Chambray Romper: DailyLook {on SALE here!} // Earrings: BaubleBar // Ring: Anita Ko and Monica Vinader // Shoes: Marc Fisher // Bag: Gucci

Can you guys believe it’s already almost September? Seriously where has the time gone?? We’re having a major heat wave here in LA. My favorite thing to wear in the heat is a romper because it’s easy to throw on and instantly makes you look put together. This chambray romper I got in one of my recent DailyLook boxes is hands down my favorite romper that I own. I love the light chambray color and the bow on the front. This will be the perfect romper to take me into the fall season as well because of the long sleeves. It’s lightweight enough for summer but will definitely work in the cooler months as well.

Statement earrings, such as the BaubleBar pom pom earrings I’m wearing, have also been a favorite of mine. I love these earrings because not only are they a statement piece but it gives the look some texture. In terms of jewelry I definitely go through phases. Right now I’m LOVING delicate rings and necklaces with a bold statement earring. What are your favorite jewelry pieces to wear right now? Leave them in the comments below!

DailyLook Elite Box – August 2017

Hey ya’ll! I am back with another unboxing of my DailyLook Elite Box. For those of you who are new to the club, DailyLook is seriously one of my favorite brands! Basically you get your own personal shopper (mine is Martha, shout out to Martha!). Each month, you get a box of goodies that you can try on and see what you like and don’t like. Keep what you like, and send back the rest. So let me preface this box by saying my weight has been fluctuating a lot recently so I’ve been in between sizes. This made it a little difficult for this month’s box.  Let’s go through what I got in my box for the month of August!

DailyLook LS Nelly Cold Shoulder Strappy Top: I really liked this top. I love the cold shoulder trend and have a bunch of items similar to this. I almost kept this item but it was just a little bit too big on me. RETURN

Just Black Mandy Distressed Denim Skirt: I’m a huge fan of the denim skirt. Thank God this trend came back! I really like the distressed look on this skirt, unfortunately it was just too big on me. If I got it in a size down I would definitely keep it! RETURN

DailyLook SL Marsha Twist Front Top: I don’t know why but royal blue is just not my color. My roommate Brig would have LOVED this top. She loves all things blue. For me, it just didn’t work. RETURN

Korye LS Blake Tencel Top: This chambray top was super cute but I have something SO similar to it in my own closet. For that reason it just didn’t work for me. RETURN

Milan Side Tie Wrap Skirt: OBSESSED. This was my favorite item from the box. Normally I’m not a big skort person, it seems very elementary school. However, this one just fit perfectly and was super comfortable! I can’t wait to show you guys how I style this! KEEP

HOM Venice Gaea Side Lace Top: I loved the mock turtleneck on this and the lace up side details, however the color just didn’t work for me. It washed me out. RETURN

Just Black Blaine Boyfriend Jeans: Last month I kept a pair of Just Black jeans and I’m obsessed with them. This pair however just didn’t work for me. 9 times out of 10 I look terrible in boyfriends jeans, and this was no exception. RETURN

Storee SL Carina Lace Up Side Tank: Now most of the items in this box was a little too big for me, but this was actually the opposite. It was too tight on the top and squeezed my boobs in an unflattering way. I did love the side lace up detailing on this tank. It would be so cute for a night out! RETURN

Gorjana Taner Bar Necklace: I’ve always loved Gorjana. They have such amazing simple jewelry and the quality is really great. I already have a couple bar necklaces so for that reason I decided not to keep this one, but I was tempted! RETURN

So there you have it! These were my items for the month of August. A lot of the items I really liked, they just didn’t fit very well on me. But hopefully next month the items will fit better! To get started with your own monthly box, go to DailyLook and sign up!

Hey ya’ll! How is everyones week going? Mine has been quite the week. I’m battling a cold that’s been lingering for a few days, and also getting over some food poisoning from the weekend. I’ve seriously been taking a million supplements and Wellness pills that I got from Whole Foods. I’m on Vitamin D, Wellness Pills and Oregano Oil, honestly just doing whatever it takes to nip this cold in the bud. If you guys have any cold remedies, please let me know in the comments below!

Now onto the outfit because I’m super excited to share this with you. This is one of my favorite summertime casual outfits. This look is perfect because it can take you from day, to night. The sequin jacket I got in my DailyLook box is seriously EVERYTHING! I’ve gotten so many compliments on this jacket! On its own, this outfit is very casual. Jean shorts with a cute Cali tee and some booties, but throw that jacket over it and BAM. Next level.

DailyLook Elite Box – July 2017

Hi everyone! We’re back once again with another month of the DailyLook Elite Box. For those of you who are new to the club, DailyLook Elite Box is a monthly subscription service where you get your very own personal stylist to send you a box full of clothes and accessories. You keep the pieces you like and return what you don’t want. These are what I got in my July box.

Julie Faux Wrap Skirt Suede Dress – $89: Love, love, love this dress! It’s a beautiful rust color and the suede material is very soft. I love the cut detailing on the bottom which makes this dress very flattering. I can’t wait to have an event to wear this dress! KEEP

Olivia Grey Paradise Heaven Dress – $96: When I first saw this in my box I thought I was going to love it. I love the cold shoulder trend. But this dress somehow just did not work. I don’t know if it was cause it was too big on me but it honestly just looked like I was wearing a floral garbage bag. RETURN

Uptown High-Waisted Super Skinny Jeans – $78: Love! These jeans are so comfy and fit very well. I love the dark wash on them and the high waist. Also, for $78 you really can’t get any better! KEEP

Olivia Gray Miss Independent Top – $79: This was an unexpected top for me. It looked cute when I first got it out of the box but it wasn’t until I tried it on that I realized how flattering it was. I love the knot on the bottom, it’s a really different element to the shirt that I haven’t seen elsewhere. KEEP

Raga Molly Jumpsuit – $98: This jumpsuit I was very torn about. I loved the open back, and the whole thing fit really well except the side boob situation. I’m not sure if my torso just wasn’t the right fit for this jumpsuit but something just didn’t look right. The boob area puckered in a very unflattering way, and no matter how I tied the back, I just couldn’t get it to look normal. RETURN

Corine Lace Up Bodysuit – $62: I got this in a previous month’s box. I wasn’t that big of a fan because of the stripes and the snap button of the bodysuit. RETURN

DailyLook Sasha Satin Slip Dress – $58: This was another repeat item in my box. I ended up keeping it previously, and I still love it now. This was the dress I wore to Coachella. If you are looking for a cute slip dress, this is a great one! RETURN

Korye Unexpected Waterfall Cardigan – $88: This was a super cute cardigan and I loved the color, however it’s about a million degrees in LA right now so the last thing I need is another sweater. RETURN

Olivia Grey Makin Me Look Good Top – $69: This off the shoulder top is obviously one of my favorites in the box! I love the olive green color and the bell sleeves. Definitely wearing this on a night out on the town! KEEP

DailyLook Vivian Silk Intimate Layer Up Cami – $74: This is another one of those items I almost kept. I love the cut of this cami, it looks very flattering on. The color is also very beautiful. I just have other tanks in my closet that are very similar, so that for I decided not to keep it. RETURN

So there you have it, those are the items in my July DailyLook Elite box! Let me know which items you would have kept from this box in the comments below!

BTW, I just started my YouTube channel up again and have an unboxing of this month’s box so go check out the video here and be sure to subscribe!

DailyLook Elite Box – June 2017

Guess who’s back back back, back again…my DailyLook Elite Box. I swear every time this box comes in the mail, I feel like it’s Christmas! Let’s hop right into it because I got some really cute things this month!

True Decadence Sequin Beaded Jacket – $89.95: My favorite thing from this month! I’m obsessed! I did an Instagram story with it when I first got my box (follow me @esthercollins if you aren’t already!) and got so many compliments! I can’t wait to wear this with some jeans or a cute dress! KEEP

DailyLook Night Cruise Cold Shoulder Romper – $72: Rompers are seriously going into heavy rotation this season for me. I love that this one incorporates the cold shoulder trend! Can’t wait to wear this on a night out! KEEP

Jack by BB Dakota Rocco Plaid Tunic – $88: I like plaid but I hated the colors on this. It was a little too loud for me. Also the dress fit more like a nightgown than a dress I’d wear during the day. RETURN

Lindsay Tie Hem Sweatshirt – $79: This one I almost kept. I loved the color, cut and the tie details. I just already have so many sweatshirts and I’ve been trying to buy more classy items I can wear to work vs. stay at home in sweats. RETURN

Ariel Mid Rise Cropped and Distressed Fray Hem Skinny Jeans – $88: This was another item I almost kept as well. If I didn’t already own about 30 pairs of jeans, I would have kept this. I loved the cutouts in them and the length was perfect for me! Maybe once I destroy some of my current jeans I’ll go back and get these. RETURN

Juliet Lace Off Shoulder Top – $89: I love off the shoulder but this one just didn’t do much for me. It was a little loose fitting and also I didn’t love the lace with the navy blue. RETURN

Korye Cold Shoulder Knit Top – $68: This was definitely my least favorite of the bunch. I thought I wold like it because of the cold shoulders but I hated the horizontal stripes. It made me feel very frumpy. RETURN

DailyLook Hana Off Shoulder Tie Back Top – $64: This was another favorite in my box! I LOVE the dusty rose color of this top and the back had a really pretty tie in it. I even wore this shirt last night on a date! KEEP

Korye Off Shoulder Alessa Tencel Top – $72: This was another item I really liked and almost kept, but I have a few chambray shirts already that are similar to this so I decided to pass. RETURN

J Brand Classic Florence Denim Jeans – $198: I have a couple pairs of J Brand jeans and I love the quality, I just didn’t love the color of these jeans. It was a little too greenish for my taste. Also I’m not a huge straight legged jean type of girl. Skinny all the way! RETURN

So there you have it! Those were my June box picks! You will definitely be seeing some of them in upcoming fashion posts so keep an eye out! Also be sure to go check out DailyLook and sign up for their boxes! It’s seriously such a great deal, you pay $40 to get a box designed just for you. Then you use that $40 towards any items you want to keep. Whatever you don’t like just send it back and you won’t get charged! It’s a win/win situation!

Let me know in the comments below what your favorite items from this month was!

DailyLook Elite Box – May 2017

IMG_2362Another month, another DailyLook Elite Box! Here are the items I got in my May box!

BB Dakota V-Neck Weave Knit Summer Sweater – $90: Love the color on this sweater! I liked the sweater but I’ve been looking for more summer pieces so I decided not to keep this. RETURN

Midori Cuffed Hem Denim Shorts – $68: These shorts are perfect! They fit amazingly! I love that they’re not too short but not too long. These will definitely be in rotation all summer! KEEP

IMG_2365

DailyLook Weekending Convertible Off Shoulder Jumpsuit – $89:  Love love love! As you can tell by my other Dailylook posts, I LOVE jumpsuits lately! This is definitely getting added to my collection. This is perfect to wear to work, or even on a night out! KEEP

IMG_2367

DailyLook Stan Colorblock and Cutout Knit Dress – $68: This dress was awkward to me. The white part really squeezed my boobs and the cutouts on the side just ended up puckering out in a weird way. This was probably my least favorite item of the box. RETURN

IMG_2374

DailyLook Justin Rib Collar Top – $64: I got this same top in gray a couple months back, I like it but it’s a little big on me. I also have 100 plain black tanks already so I decided not to keep this. RETURN

Cameo Rather Be Skirt – $89.95: This skirt just did nothing for me. I hated the pattern, I hated the material it was just a big no for me. RETURN

IMG_2369

Carina Roll Sleeve Blouse – $69: This shirt looks like a Faithfull The Brand shirt I’ve been eying. I loved the color on it but for some reason it just didn’t win it for me. I didn’t really like the panel V-neck. RETURN

Brandon Raw Hem Ankle Skinny Jean – $98: I loved the feeling of these jeans, they fit really well. I didn’t however like the random rip above the knee. It just looked like a weird placement. RETURN

IMG_2372

Mona Lace-Up Tie Front Blouse – $68: I really liked this blouse but it was HUGE on me. I definitely would have needed at least one size smaller. But I did really like the pattern on this. RETURN

IMG_2376

BB Dakota V-Neck Chambray Long Sleeve Romper – $98: Saving the best for last. I’m OBSESSED with this romper! It’s so cute for spring/summer. I can’t wait to wear this and will definitely be getting a lot of wear out of it. The only issue I have with this romper is it’s a nightmare to get on and off. It takes me a good couple of minutes to squeeze my body into it. I wish it had a zipper in the back not the side. Other than that, LOVE! KEEP

Overall, I’m very happy with this box! The chambray jumpsuit is my absolute fave and I can’t wait to wear it! I already wore the other jumpsuit to dinner last night and it was a huge hit! To get your own DailyLook Elite Box, click here.

DailyLook Elite Box – April 2017

IMG_2019

Another month, another DailyLook Elite Box! This box has been my favorite so far! Here are the items I got!

Sasha Satin Slip Cami – $58: First up was one of my favorites from the box! I’ve been looking for a cute slip dress and this one is perfect! I wore it to Coachella this past weekend, which you can see photos in my last post! I love the V-neck on this dress and the color is perfection! KEEP

IMG_2010

Paul Laurence Cotton Tencel Chambray Shirt Dress – $69.99: I love me a good chambray shirt dress but this one just didn’t do it for me. It was a little to big and didn’t really have a good shape to it. RETURN

IMG_2016

BB Dakota Marissa Knit Ribbed Sweater Dress – $92.99: This was my least favorite in the box. I’ve been looking for a turtleneck sweater dress but this just didn’t do it. The sizing was off, it was HUGE, and kind of just ended up making me look like I was wearing a bag. RETURN

IMG_2023Annika Sleeveless Trench Vest – $89.99: I love this vest! It’s an olive-brown shade and looks perfect thrown over any outfit. I’ve already worn this vest to work and I love it! I would pair this with jeans like the image above, or with a cute dress. KEEP

IMG_2020Corine Lace-up Body Suit – $62: This was a cute body suit but I just wasn’t in love with it. It had the snap buttons on the bottom of the body suit which I just found uncomfortable when wearing it. This was cute but just didn’t do it for me. RETURN

IMG_2027

Contempo Button Up Open Back Blouse – $79: I really wanted to like this blouse, it had a cute cut out in the back. But, the sizing on this blouse just didn’t work. The cut out in the back ended up puckering out too much and it just looked a little strange. RETURN

IMG_2024Greylin Sera Silk Camisole – $89: I got this super cute black camisole. I love the deep V and think it will be so cute for a night out! You will definitely be seeing this on my Instagram soon! KEEP

IMG_2030

DAILYLOOK Plunging Tie Bodice Jumpsuit – $64.99: For my last item, I got this really sexy jumpsuit. I’ve really been loving jumpsuits lately. I got one in my last box, and you can see how I styled it here. This one is so cute with the plunging neckline. The jumpsuit itself was very long for my short body so I need to get it hemmed, but it’s definitely worth it! KEEP

So there you have it! Those were the items I received in my April DailyLook Elite Box! The great thing about these boxes are if you end up keeping 3 or more items in the box, they give you a discount code to get 50% off one item! Score! I ended up keeping 4 items from this box, and I’m obsessed with all of them! Can’t wait to see what is in my next box!

MINKPINK Jumpsuit

Esther-9

Jumpsuit: MINKPINK {similar ON SALE!} // Bag: Gucci // Shoes: Steve Madden  {similar ON SALE!} // Rings: BaubleBar, & Other Stories {similar} // Choker: Forever 21

I’ve been on a major jumpsuit kick lately. I love that this trend is coming back in full swing. Rompers are perfect for summer but jumpsuits are a great in between season piece. I got this MINKPINK jumpsuit in my last DailyLook Elite Box.  I’m so obsessed with this jumpsuit. It’s perfect for during the day, and even works for a night out. The cut outs in the back show a little skin without it being too revealing. I’ve already gotten quite a few wears in this jumpsuit. I love this jumpsuit in particular because its loose in some places but form fitting in others.

Since this jumpsuit has a pattern throughout, I decided to keep the jewelry to a minimum. I paired it with a simple choker, and two rings. I used to be ALL about the chunky jewelry, the bigger the better am I right? But recently, I’ve really been into delicate jewelry. If you guys know of any cute delicate jewelry brands, let me know! I’m always on the hunt!
