DailyLook Elite Box – July 2017

Hi everyone! We’re back once again with another month of the DailyLook Elite Box. For those of you who are new to the club, DailyLook Elite Box is a monthly subscription service where you get your very own personal stylist to send you a box full of clothes and accessories. You keep the pieces you like and return what you don’t want. These are what I got in my July box.

Julie Faux Wrap Skirt Suede Dress – $89: Love, love, love this dress! It’s a beautiful rust color and the suede material is very soft. I love the cut detailing on the bottom which makes this dress very flattering. I can’t wait to have an event to wear this dress! KEEP

Olivia Grey Paradise Heaven Dress – $96: When I first saw this in my box I thought I was going to love it. I love the cold shoulder trend. But this dress somehow just did not work. I don’t know if it was cause it was too big on me but it honestly just looked like I was wearing a floral garbage bag. RETURN

Uptown High-Waisted Super Skinny Jeans – $78: Love! These jeans are so comfy and fit very well. I love the dark wash on them and the high waist. Also, for $78 you really can’t get any better! KEEP

Olivia Gray Miss Independent Top – $79: This was an unexpected top for me. It looked cute when I first got it out of the box but it wasn’t until I tried it on that I realized how flattering it was. I love the knot on the bottom, it’s a really different element to the shirt that I haven’t seen elsewhere. KEEP

Raga Molly Jumpsuit – $98: This jumpsuit I was very torn about. I loved the open back, and the whole thing fit really well except the side boob situation. I’m not sure if my torso just wasn’t the right fit for this jumpsuit but something just didn’t look right. The boob area puckered in a very unflattering way, and no matter how I tied the back, I just couldn’t get it to look normal. RETURN

Corine Lace Up Bodysuit – $62: I got this in a previous month’s box. I wasn’t that big of a fan because of the stripes and the snap button of the bodysuit. RETURN

DailyLook Sasha Satin Slip Dress – $58: This was another repeat item in my box. I ended up keeping it previously, and I still love it now. This was the dress I wore to Coachella. If you are looking for a cute slip dress, this is a great one! RETURN

Korye Unexpected Waterfall Cardigan – $88: This was a super cute cardigan and I loved the color, however it’s about a million degrees in LA right now so the last thing I need is another sweater. RETURN

Olivia Grey Makin Me Look Good Top – $69: This off the shoulder top is obviously one of my favorites in the box! I love the olive green color and the bell sleeves. Definitely wearing this on a night out on the town! KEEP

DailyLook Vivian Silk Intimate Layer Up Cami – $74: This is another one of those items I almost kept. I love the cut of this cami, it looks very flattering on. The color is also very beautiful. I just have other tanks in my closet that are very similar, so that for I decided not to keep it. RETURN

So there you have it, those are the items in my July DailyLook Elite box! Let me know which items you would have kept from this box in the comments below!

BTW, I just started my YouTube channel up again and have an unboxing of this month’s box so go check out the video here and be sure to subscribe!

DailyLook Elite March Box

After my last DailyLook Elite Box (which I did a review here) I was super pumped to get my March box. For those of you who don’t know what the DailyLook Elite Box is, it is a monthly subscription service where you basically get your own personal stylist to pick out some pieces for you. You get to try everything on and keep what you like, and return what you don’t. Here are the items I got in my March box, picked out by my fabulous stylist Martha.

Gorjana Chaplin Rose Gold Earrings – $23.95 – I absolutely ADORE these little studs. I’ve been really into delicate jewelry lately and these are the perfect addition to my collection! KEEP

IMG_1718

HOM Venice Gaea Side Lace Top – $52 – I was super torn with this shirt. I liked the lace up sides and the cut outs on the side. I even really liked the mock turtleneck. The only issue I had with this shirt was the color. It kind of washed me out and made me look blah. If it was in a black or something I probably would have kept this. RETURN

HOM Venice Boardwalk Pinstripe Lounge Pants – $54 – These pants were super cute as well. I’m just not a big fan of patterned pants for myself, unless it’s some embroidered denim. I never really know how to make pants like these my own and always seem to just look kind of off in them. RETURN

IMG_1721

BB Dakota Lasso Top – $68 – This striped shirt was super cute, but it was HUGE on me. I felt like it could almost double as a dress. Due to the sizing I decided to pass on this. RETURN

IMG_1727

Saylor X DailyLook Piper Floral Dress – $219.99 – This dress was super cute! I absolutely loved the color of it and the lace detailing. The material was a little to thick for my taste but this was a very beautiful dress. RETURN

IMG_1723

DailyLook Bed Ready Blouse – $59.99 – This was probably my least favorite item from the box. I had really high hopes when I saw a picture of it before the box shipped to me, however it just didn’t work out very well. The sizing was too big for me and the material was very thick. I also really didn’t like the color of this, it just didn’t work for me. RETURN

IMG_1724

Blaque Label V-Neck Tank Dress – $76.99 – I was torn on this dress. I liked the cut of it and the color was a flattering blush pink. The only thing was the length kind of just made it look like I was wearing a bag. If it was shorter I would have totally gone for this! RETURN

IMG_1725Borgona Wide Stripe Off Shoulder Dress – $68 (on sale now for $37.95!) – I almost kept this dress. You know I love an off the shoulder moment (my roommate calls it the Esther look). I even really loved the color of this dress. I just didn’t love the shape. It was very baggy and thick. I wish it looked a little more slimming. RETURN

IMG_1728
Minkpink Geo Petal Print Jumpsuit – $72 – I had to save the best for last. I am OBSESSED with this jumpsuit. Normally jumpsuits don’t fit me well. I have a longer torso so it usually just ends up leaving me with a bad cameltoe and no one wants that. But this jumpsuit fits PERFECTLY. It’s flowy and super comfy and also has super cute detailing that ties in the back. I can’t wait to show you guys how I style this jumpsuit, it’s seriously my new favorite item in my closet. KEEP

So there you have it, my March DailyLook Elite Box. I ended up keeping two of the items and sending the rest back. I still can’t get over how perfect the jumpsuit is. I’ll definitely do a blog post with it on soon! Which items would you guys have kept from this box? Let me know in the comments below!

PS: Most of the items are available on DailyLook’s website to purchase whether or not you subscribe to the box!

DailyLook Elite Box Review

Subscription boxes have become a huge thing in the recent years. I’ve become a sucker to a lot of them. I’ve tried a bunch and currently get the PopSugar box each month. I kept seeing ads for DailyLook’s Elite Box and I just couldn’t resist trying it out. Basically you pay $40 for a box of clothing that has been personally styled just for you. That $40 is then used towards any items you want to purchase from your box. If you get an item you don’t like, you just return it free of charge.

I love to shop, but I’m also lazy AF so this box sounded pretty ideal for me. I signed up online, and took their quick style quiz. The questions range from telling them your sizing to different style preferences. I also gave them my social media figuring they don’t actually even look at it. I got my box the other day and was pleasantly surprised when I got a note from my stylist Martha (shoutout to Martha!). She said in her note how she looked through my blog and Instagram and saw one of my recent posts about off the shoulder tops. I LOVED the personalization which I really didn’t expect. Okay, so onto what was in the box. Here were all the items I received:

dailylook 1

When I first saw this shirt in the box I really wasn’t thrilled. But honestly, when I tried it on it was perfect. The shirt fit perfectly and I loved the cutouts on the side. This would be the perfect work shirt. KEEP.

dailylook 4

This maxi dress was HUGE, and not only that but it made me look HUGE. This was definitely my least favorite item from the box. RETURN

dailylook 7

Faithfull the Brand is one of my favorite brands. I own another one of their dresses and I absolutely love it. I’ve seen their shirt dresses all over and have been wanting to try it out. Unfortunately the cut and color just didn’t look good on me. RETURN

dailylook6

This was my favorite item in the box. It’s an off the shoulder top (but fits me like a dress). It’s SO cute and has a sweetheart neckline that is so flattering. I can’t wait to wear this out. KEEP

dailylook3

I’ve really been wanting to try One Teaspoon shorts. I loved these shorts they were super cute and comfy, however the sizing just wasn’t right. RETURN

DailyLook Elite Box

These jeans were super cute and fit really well. Unfortunately I have about 20 pairs of jeans already in my closet, so I figured I shouldn’t buy anymore. RETURN

Overall, I was really happy with my first box. I kept 2 out of the 6 items. The gray tank will be in serious rotation ASAP and I can’t wait for it to get warmer out so I can wear my new leopard dress! I’m excited to see what my next Elite Box will bring! Get your own Elite Box here.
