2015 Recap

Hi loves! Can you believe 2015 is coming to an end?? This year has seriously flown by so fast. A lot of things have changed from the beginning of 2015 to now. As I get ready to ring in the new year in Raleigh with my best friend Catherine, I wanted to share some of my highlights from 2015. Here are some of my favorite things that happened in 2015.

I adopted a dog, Baguette. This summer I adopted my dog Baguette and it was honestly the best decision I have ever made. She’s the love of my life. I can’t remember what it was like to not have her in my life. If I’m ever having a bad day, I can just look at Baguette and she immediately brings a smile to my face.

I spent my 24th birthday in Vegas with some of my best friends. Shout out to my girl friends (especially Grace for flying across the country) for coming with me on a crazy weekend trip to Vegas.  Vegas is always a great time, but going for my 24th birthday was something I had planned for a while and was really special to me.

I flew home for my dad’s 60th birthday. I was lucky enough to fly back to NY this summer as a “surprise” for my dad’s 60th birthday. It was a great time with family and friends and I’m so thankful that I was able to come.

I got a new job. The beginning of fall was quite a transition. I started officially working with my new job in September and I couldn’t be happier. I love everyone that I work with and this job has been a great learning experience.

I went to Korea to see family. This past April I was able to take a week off and go see both my parents and my mom’s family in Korea. I hadn’t been to Korea since I was a sophomore in high school, so it was really great to see my family and reconnect. It was also my grandma’s 79th birthday when we went, so the whole family got together to celebrate.

Those were just a handful of the amazing experiences I had this past year. Thank you all for being supportive and sticking with me through this journey. Can’t wait to see where 2016 will take me!
