I’m normally not the type of girl to rock a crazy pattern. However, lately I’ve really been enjoying dressing in some patterns to spice things up. I’ve been loving this dress I got at a Show Me Your Mumu sample sale a few months back. Not only was it a steal, but it’s also super cute! I love wearing this outfit on a night out with my friends. It’s the perfect mix of casual yet chic.

Collective Passions Collab!

I’ve known Annie for most of my life. She’s my best friend Catherine’s big sister, and she also used to be my babysitter. I’ve always looked up to Annie as a sort of big sister to me because I’m an only child (ya know, only child syndrome). I was so excited when she started a blog called Collective Passions. It’s such a beautiful site and is inspiring to see how it has been growing. Annie contacted me the other week and asked if I wanted to do a collab with her featuring Chloe and Isabel jewelry. I obviously was so thrilled I had to say yes! Not only am I obsessed with this new necklace, I’m even more excited about how the post turned out. Check out my featured post on her blog here!

Pink Floral

There’s something about hot pink that just instantly puts a smile on my face. That being said, when I found out there was a giant pink wall on Melrose, I just had to take a trip. Victoria, our friend Becca and I went for an impromptu photo shoot last weekend (see Vic’s post here!). Melrose is definitely one of my favorite streets in LA. Not only is it known for the 90210 spin-off, it’s also an amazing place for shopping and food. If you’re ever in the LA area definitely go check out this iconic spot at the Paul Smith store on Melrose.

Winter Whites

We spent Thanksgiving weekend exploring the beautiful town of Coronado, a little island located across the bay from San Diego. North Beach is hands down the most gorgeous beach I have ever been to (and dog friendly!). You can see for miles and miles past the horizon. The water was even warm enough to go in, and considering the East Coast is covered in snow, that’s quite a feat. On our last day in Coronado, while we wandered down Orange Ave., we came across this cute little flower shop, so naturally we had an impromptu photoshoot. Overall, it was a great weekend filled with family, friends, and food! For those of you who have never been, I’d definitely recommend making the trip!
