My Top 5 Food Accounts to Follow on Instagram

Instagram is my favorite social media platform, hands down. Food, dogs and parody accounts are some of my favorite accounts to follow on IG. With that being said, I wanted to share with you my top 5 food accounts on Instagram. These will surely get you salivating.

local-haven

Who: Ashley Marti @localhaven
Why: Be prepared to drool. This IG account is seriously one of the most beautiful food Instagram accounts. The food styling is on point. Ashley never disappoints.

popeye-the-foodie

Who: Popeye @popeyethefoodie
Why: This dog is hands down my favorite on Insta (besides @mydogbaguette of course!). Popeye travels around LA, looking both stylish and posing with the most delicious looking food. I want the dog, and the food.

byron

Who: Byron Talbott @byrontalbott
Why: Byron is my favorite Youtuber. His recipes on YouTube are the bomb.com. I’ve tried a couple of them out, (including the zucchini salad above) and they were AMAZING. Go follow him on YouTube and Insta for delicious recipes you can recreate at home.

kitchy-kitchen

Who: Claire Thomas @kitchykitchen
Why: Claire is another Youtuber that I love! She makes super fun recipes which she showcases on her Instagram. She also posts pictures of different places she goes to eat, all of which look amazing.

infatuation-la

Who: @infatuation_la
Why: If you’re living in a major city, and not following a food account about it…what are you doing? Infatuation LA showcases some of the cities best restaurants. Every time they post a new gram, my list of restaurants I need to check out doubles.

What are some of your favorite foodie accounts?

This past week has been a whirlwind! I finally got to slow down this weekend, spending it in Newport laying on the beach and eating copious amounts of Valentine’s Day candy. Speaking of Valentine’s Day, my boyfriend got me these leather Sk8-His that I’ve been wanting foreverrr and I’ve been wearing them nonstop. They seriously make any outfit instantly cooler and I’m loving pairing them with girlier pieces like this sack of a dress I found at Goodwill a few years ago and recently hacked off the bottom.

Another item I haven’t taken off is my vivofit by Garmin. It’s essentially a Fitbit and tracks my steps, as well as my sleep (and tells time!). The irony lies in the fact that it was supposed to help me be healthier, when in reality, it only makes me painfully aware of how unhealthy I actually am.

These photos were taken on President’s Day, when Esther, our friend Becca, and I decided to hit up some of the most Instagrammed landmarks in LA, and of course our first stop was the Paul Smith building on Melrose. I actually can’t believe I’ve never taken a photo here before, but we more than made up for it with the insane photoshoot that ensued (laying on the concrete was involved). Hope everyone had a wonderful and restful President’s Day weekend!
