Leopard Skirt

Skirt: PrettyLittleThings // Bodysuit: Forever 21 // Shoes: Urban Outfitters {similar here and here} // Bag: Gucci // Sunglasses: Karen Walker

Hey ya’ll! This post might look familiar to some of you, and that’s because it’s my second attempt at posting it. I had a glitch in the system and my last post got deleted. Then there were server issues and blah blah blah, but don’t worry I am back! Also I obviously had to post this again because this is one of my favorite looks!

Can you believe this bodysuit + skirt combo cost me less than $50?!? I mean, talk about a steal! Bodysuits are huge right now and I love to pair them with skirts because they don’t leave any bunched up fabric underneath. I saw this bodysuit at Forever 21 for around $10 and had to snag it! This skirt was also a huge steal. It was from one of my new favorite websites PrettyLittleThings. PLT is a website that has very affordable and very on trend pieces. The red dress I wore in Vegas was also from PLT and I got so many compliments on it! Speaking of Vegas, I’m going this weekend and I CAN NOT WAIT. Vegas is literally one of my favorite places on earth, I’m like a kid in a candy store.

Back to the outfit. Since the bodysuit and skirt were so cheap, I decided to splurge on the accessories. I paired it with my new Karen Walker sunnies, which I’m OBSESSED with. I literally wear these everyday. The tortoise goes perfectly with the leopard print! I decided to keep the bag and shoes to a simple black. This outfit is seriously one of my favorites to wear this spring. It’s so easy to throw on, and looks so chic. You could wear this during the day, or even at night (throw on a leather jacket if it’s chilly!).

What I Wore In Vegas

IMG_1659

Vegas is my happy place. You know that place that makes you feel like a kid in a candy store? Well Vegas is that place for me. Which is why this is my 3rd year in a row celebrating my birthday in Vegas. We stayed at The Cosmopolitan which is my favorite hotel. The rooms are super modern and chic, and our room had a sick balcony that overlooked the strip. I mean look at that view…it was incredible.

Okay now onto the clothes. Going to Vegas means going shopping. Vegas is very bougie so you need to dress up whether you’re going to dinner, the pool or going out at night. The first night I found this super cute dress from Forever 21. It was a black off the shoulder dress. Not only was it super affordable but it was super cute! I wore this when we went to see the Chainsmokers at XS. I wore a silver choker, also from Forever 21, along with a simple bracelet and silver ring from And Other Stories. I paired it with some pink heels from Steve Madden for a little pop of color.

So as a birthday surprise, my friends made me my own snapchat filter. How cute are they?? I’m obsessed. The second night, which was my actual birthday I wore this super cute red number from Pretty Little Things (Kylie Jenner wore this in orange to a red carpet so obviously I needed to have it, and wear it with my Kylie Lip Kit in Dolce K). I paired it with a simple silver necklace my roommate Sabrina got me, along with some simple heels from Forever 21.

There ya have it. Those were my Vegas outfits this past weekend for my birthday. You can check out more pictures from this past weekend on my Instagram @esthercollins. Let me know in the comments below if you guys have ever been to Vegas and what you would wear!

Purple Duster

Duster: Style Delivers // Dress: Forever 21 // Bag: Gucci {similar} // Boots: Gucci (on sale!) // Necklace: BaubleBar {similar} // Bracelets: BaubleBar and Library // Rings: BaubleBar {similar} , Anita Ko {similar} and LVL Collective

I stumbled upon a small boutique on Melrose Avenue called Style Delivers last year, and I’ve become hooked. They sell a lot of fast fashion items at a reasonable price point. It’s a great store to look for Vegas dresses, which I’m going in a couple weeks for my birthday and I can not wait! My first time into Style Delivers I saw this purple duster and I absolutely fell in love! It’s so chic and so soft. It’s perfect to throw over a plain dress or even some jeans to create some mega-drama!

Speaking of drama – let me just tell you about my weekend… I went to Napa for a friend’s birthday celebration. All was good until the rain hit. Being from the east coast you would think a little rain wouldn’t scare anyone. My flight going to Napa got cancelled but luckily I got on another one that flew out. Our other friends got delayed and ended up having to spend the night at the airport. Oh but wait, the drama doesn’t stop there. While in Napa, we went out to a nice dinner only to find a staple in my food. Yup. A staple. I don’t think I’ve ever been so traumatized.

After those rough 24 hours you’d think, nothing else could go wrong. Right? I was ready to get back to LA and see my dog and just sit on the couch and CHILL. That was until I got an alert saying my flight once again got cancelled. Luckily my friends champed it with me and we ended up getting a rental car and drove from Napa back to LA. It only took us, oh you know, about 8 hours to get home.

As crazy and terrible the things life threw at us were, I had a pretty fun weekend. Rather than wallow in our misery we made the most of the trip and ended up having a blast. Plus I discovered a new favorite line of champagne from Mumm Winery. We also decided on our trip that we’re going to be doing two weeks of Whole 30, and attempt the Year of Yes. So wish us luck, we might need it!

Choker Crush

choker crushI have got a major crush on chokers right now. Who knew that this Kristin Cavallari, early 2000’s trend would come back in full force. I sure didn’t, but I’m very glad it did! I’m obsessed with the choker trend and love pairing it with any of my off the shoulder tops. It really helps to accentuate the décolletage, and some chokers even make your neck appear slimmer. Here are some of my favorite chokers. I currently own #5 (also seen on JoJo Fletcher from the Bachelorette) and #7. I wear them ALL the time. Chokers are great because they can really add a pop to a plain outfit. I can’t wait to get my hands on these others. What do you guys think of the trend?

It’s my birthday! I’m turning 24, and that makes me one year away from being a quarter of a century old. CRAZY. As I’m wrapping up my week, I’m starting to pack for a girls trip to Vegas. We leave tomorrow to celebrate my birthday, and I can’t wait! I know for sure I will be taking these Quay sunglasses with me because I’m OBSESSED, like Mariah Carey would say. They come in both black and gold, and I almost want to go back and purchase the black one as well. To be honest, this whole outfit will probably be in my suitcase. It’s the perfect day time outfit whether you’re lounging around the house or going out to brunch (or even to celebrate a birthday!).
